Gold Eagle Obtains ISO 9001:2015 Certification
By Marc Blackman, CEO
Gold Eagle Company is proud to announce the achievement of ISO 9001: 2015 Certification for the design, development, manufacture, marketing, sales and distribution of premium chemicals for the automotive, marine, outdoor living, outdoor power equipment, household, and private branded markets.
ISO is a non-governmental international organization of experts responsible for developing standards that innovate approaches to global challenges via standards
“ISO 9001 is defined as the international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system (QMS). Organizations use the standard to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
A quality management system is a formalized system that documents processes, procedures, and responsibilities for achieving quality policies and objectives. A QMS standardizes an organization’s activities to meet customer and regulatory requirements and improve its effectiveness and efficiency on a continuous basis.
ISO 9001:2015 is the most recognized and implemented quality management system standard in the world. ISO 9001:2015 specifies key requirements for a QMS that organizations must consider when developing their own programs. The requirements, however, provide enough autonomy so organizations can build a QMS to suit their business needs. No two organizations are identically the same, so their QMS shouldn’t be either.
“We are very proud of this accomplishment,” said Manny Castaneda, Gold Eagle’s ISO Compliance Manager. “Achieving this certification in relatively short order, with superior results is a testament to our spirit of inter-departmental cooperation, commitment to our customers and our Core Values of Quality and Customer Focus. As stated in ISO publications, ‘the benefits of Certification offer advantages such as helping to communicate a readiness to produce consistent results, preventing mistakes, reducing costs, ensuring that processes are defined and controlled, and continually improving the organization’s offerings.’ “Gold Eagle is truly a world-class operation.”
Way to go. What an outstanding achievement!
