To remain a vibrant, healthy and forward-thinking business, it is crucial to have a well-trained and engaged workforce.
Continuous improvement of our people and processes have been at the heart of Gold Eagle Company since it was founded in 1932 by Armin Hirsch and have remained vital under the stewardship of Armin’s sons Bob and Rich Hirsch.
With this dedication to learning and improvement at the forefront of our culture, Gold Eagle unveiled the new Hirsch Learning Center with ribbon cutting ceremonies on May 6, 2019.
Featuring a bank of computer work stations, conference table, and quiet workspace, the Hirsch Learning Center is designed for our plant team members to engage in Computer Based Training (CBT), webinars, roundtable discussions and related activities to foster their learning and continuous improvement.
“We must continuously train our people and providing this new space will allow us to accomplish that,” said Jim Ferguson, Vice President of Operations. “We’re now able to provide our plant and operations teams a place where they can quietly and efficiently embrace new knowledge and learn new processes. We are very excited about this new space.”
